4-color process printing onto plastic card and promotional products at resolutions of 720 x 360 DPI is now achievable with 509 Technologies DOD-9000 Inkjet Print Systems. Alternatively, high speed single and multi-color print configurations are available for standard variable printing applications.

DOD-9000 Series Printers are super scalable allowing users to expand print capabilities including print speed, width and color with the existing investment, as opposed to purchasing additional or replacement print solutions.

The DOD-9000 Printer has closed the inkjet-thermal gap with improved print quality and durability. Variable drop sizes allow the DOD-9000 to generate a natural print resolution of 360 x 360 mono-color. And the ability to lay down a clear protective coat improves print durability and makes print appear as if it is not surface-printed.

For card processing requirements, the DOD-9000 Printer is integrated into the 509 Controller, eliminating the complexities that exist with multi-controller systems, i.e. machine controllers, printer controllers and camera controllers. 509 Technologies Card Personalization Systems offer a simple productive solution to card personalization.
