TCP-5000 Series Thermal Card Personalization Systems combine high quality, high speed thermal transfer printing with all the functions and integrity built into every 509 Technologies card personalization system. Offering the highest thermal print speeds in the industry, the TCP-5000 Series thermal prints, encodes, verifies, and validates the integrity of all product entering and exiting the system. Systems may be configured with multiple thermal print and/or scratch-off stations to meet a variety of personalization requirements. Multiple verification processes are available to insure the level of integrity meets product and application requirements.

The standard TCP-5010 (1 print station) configuration includes the 509 Controller, High Capacity-Top-Load-Feeder, Thermal Print Station, Print Verification Section, 90 Degree Turn, 509 Encode/Verify System, Divert Station with Reject Bin, Post Reject Verification Section, Manual Verification Station with Handheld Barcode Scanner and Swipe Reader, and Collection Conveyor. Speeds up to 9,000 CR-80 size cards may be achieved depending on the amount of print required on the cards.

509 Technologies achieves unparalleled thermal print speeds by printing the cards in the direction that maximizes ribbon usage and minimizes waste. Cards are print verified and immediately enter a 90 Degree Turn so they are properly positioned for magstripe encoding and verifying. Cards that do not pass the print verify or encoding parameters are diverted into the reject bin and added to the remake file in the job database.

TCP-5020 (2 print stations) configurations include an additional print station for multi-color or duplex printing requirements. Additionally, scratch-off material may be applied with the second print station. For duplex printing requirements, a Flip Station is required to turn the card for alternate side printing.
