Item # CVS-1000 / Card Verification System

The CVS-1000 Card Verification System is designed for high speed capture of personalized cards to verify the integrity of outgoing work or for capturing incoming card inventory.  The system may be used as an independent quality control check of cards personalized on an independent personalization system or for automated capture of all cards being entered into inventory.

The CVS-1000 captures 1D and 2D barcodes, human readable information, magstripe data, and document version data from CR-80 up to hangtag size cards ranging in thickness from 10 – 30 mils.  Processing speeds range from 20,000 up to 40,000 cards per hour, depending on the type of verification required.  The powerful 509 Controller controls all machine and data functions providing the ability to record all product verified for incoming or outgoing inventory tracking and for comparing printed data on cards to an existing database, verifying document version and identifting missing, out-of-order and duplicate cards.

The system features 509 Technologies robust magstripe read head, comprised of ceramic chromoly material, and may last up to 20 million reads before requiring replacement.  CVS-1000 software interfaces with database systems including MS SQL Server, MSDE and other data management products. CVS-1000 software features 509 Technologies’ innovative Data Recipe Builder, which simplifies job setups by facilitating the conversion of flat (text) files into SQL databases for use with the CVS-1000. It also accelerates production by allowing users to store job setups for use with new data files.
