Item # IDEV-5600 / Encode Verifier

IDEV-5600 Encode Verifier is a high speed dedicated magstripe encode and verify system that may be customized to accomodate a variety of document sizes and encoding formats. Designed for the special handling requirements of digitally printed documents, such as health insurance identification cards where document curl can be a challenge, the IDEV-5600 uses drive wheels and rollers to accurately transport documents through the encoding and verifying processes.

The system is comprised of the 509 Controller, High Capacity-Top-Load-Feeder, Lookup Section, 509 Encode/Verify System, Divert Station with Reject Bin, Post Reject Verification Section, Manual Verification Station with Handheld Barcode Scanner and Swipe Reader, and Collection Conveyor. Product is fed into the Lookup Section where barcode or OCR data is captured with a scanner or camera system and linked to a data file to insure the appropriate data is encoded onto the magstripe. Immediately following encoding, the magstripe is read to verify the information encoded is correct and able to be read. If product is not encoded properly or is unable to be read, it is diverted into the reject bin where it is manually verified or scheduled for remake. Properly encoded product is captured with the Post Reject Verification camera or scanner to validate product is being processed in the correct order and that all machine functions are working properly. Alternatively documents may be encoded directly from a data file, however it is imperative product and the data file are in the exact same order.

Industrial ceramic chromoly encode and verify heads are an integral part of the IDEV-5600, providing up to 20 million reads and writes before requiring replacement.
